Welcome! After 35 years of experience in the Eastern health and martial arts philosophies, I've come to recognize breathing as one of the most powerful tools for achieving a higher quality of life, seeing better physical and mental performance, and preventing illness. "Deep Breathing" has become a buzz-word within the health industry, but to actually see benefit from breathing deep, you have to understand the science behind it and practice it every day.

As a thank you for signing-up for my blog updates, here are the four basic breathing techniques for developing your lungs, increasing oxygen intake, keeping a calm and focused mind, and strengthening the immune system.

Practice each technique 5 times a day, for 1-3 minutes each time. Remember! Straight spine, calm mind. Close your eyes, drop your shoulders, and relax your face. Keep your head suspended, and focus on the sensation of the air moving in and out.
